The Feldenkrais Method® is a body-centered learning process that employs gentle touch, guided movement and tools for enhancing awareness that reconnect you with your natural ability to move freely and comfortably. Feldenkrais can benefit anyone, from the physically challenged to the physically fit, whether young or old. Through exploratory movement and enhanced awareness, Feldenkrais focuses on the neuromuscular system to help you move through your life with minimal effort and maximal efficiency. By becoming aware of how your body moves, works and plays with greatest ease, you can reduce muscular effort and strain while releasing pain and stiffness. This learning becomes generalized to enhance all areas of your life. You will find that you can engage in all your activities with less effort and more comfort and ease.

Functional Integration® is a one-on-one session with a Feldenkrais practitioner. This method employs a gentle touch to prevent guarding and resistance in your muscles and movements, which optimizes your learning and awareness. Feldenkrais is equally beneficial for people with recurrent limitations and pain, as well as those looking to improve particular physical skills. Sessions last about 50 minutes.
